Should I upgrade my i5-750 to a 2500k?

What games do you play? What resolution?

Everything really, all at 1600x900. FSX, GTAIV, SupCom, some MMOs, lots of CPU heavy stuff but plenty of GPU heavy stuff, too.

Only if you agree to cut me a deal on the 750. Seriously, especially if you have a gigabyte or Intel mobo to go with it. Ah - Asus - that board looks a little spendy for me. I would still be interested in the CPU for the right price.

Hah. Ive already got a guy who wants to buy the Maximus board. I planned on selling the CPU as well but now Im really questioning whether the move is worth it.

I'd say wait for new chips end of this year if you want to stay Intel. Your rig should be fine till at least then. New AMD chips come out in June as well so some good things coming down the pipe in the very near future. Your wait won't be long.
