should i upgrade from Antec 1030sx to Sonata?

i'm reading all these recommendations for a sonata and i currently have a 1030sx. the 1030 is really loud because i have 6 fans inside plus the PSU and videocard. 2 80mm in front, 2 in back, 1 96mm on cpu, 1 80mm blowing up from the bottom. i even wired a switch to go from 12v to 7v. at 7v its bearable but i wish it would be quieter. i need all these fans because my duron (!!) runs real hot when OCed to 1ghz. i'm thinking of upgrading soon, probably to an A64 3200+ or higher. these new chips shouldn't be nearly as hot as the duron right? should i upgrade the case too?

An A64 3200+ puts out 89W of heat (max). I think thats even more heat than your oc'd Duron.

oh crap. i throught i read somewhere long time ago the new AMD chips won't be as hot. the duron at 1ghz is around 50-55 idle. at 800mhz its 35 or so idle. temp under load is about 5-10 higher. whats the temp for the A64's like?
