Should I update my OCZ Vertex firmware?

I just got a new OCZ Vertex 60GB drive (my first SSD drive), and it says V 1.1, so I'm assuming that's the version of the firmware installed on it.

On the OCZ forums it seems the latest firmware is V 1.3, so my question is should I bother updating it? What would be the benefit of doing so? I don't have much experience in flashing SSD firmware, but I'm a fast learner (at least I think I am).

CrystalDiskInfo can tell you what firmware you have. If the SSD is brand new, it is probably already using 1.3 (aka 1571). Be sure to get the 3.0 alpha version.

1.1 is 1370.
1.3 is 1571.
