i've never ordered anything online before...

Do you live in a cave?

well, no, i live in poway, which is almost the same thing...

Poway is still near LA.

You are just a complete dumbass, admit it.

It's like asking, "I've never mailed something before. Can I trust the post office?"

post office is federally insured.

and i moved out of LA... :(

STOP POSTING !

you know, after getting shot, i just gave up on the whole living in LA thing...

btw newegg uses fedex and fedex is 10x better then US postal. Tracking a package with USPS is a trial in patience. Fedex has never let me down, USPS otoh.... makes me wanna go postal sometimes

Newegg is the best online retailer for ANYTHING I've ever bought online, period. As mentioned earlier, RMA's are a breeze if your equpment is DOA or dies within a certain timeframe.

You will never want to shop retail again! I live in Virginia, and I'd rather (in 95% of cases) wait 2-3 days for a present from Newegg to show up on my doorstep than to run out to WorstBuy or CompUSA. I'm currently waiting for a bunch of DLink WiFi equipment, should be here tomorrow. I've spent a couple thousand there in the last year building PCs for relatives and friends.

This also goes to show you how top-notch customer service gets you ahead in business....

Yep - that is a pretty stupid question. How many "Newegg rocks!" threads did you have to ignore to ask this question?

I think you are posting for the sake of posting.

What I could never figure out is, what's up with the name? If I remember correctly, NewEgg came out about the same time that Egghead was on it's last legs as a good online store to shop at. Being that eggs really aren't a techie noun, I initially saw NewEgg as some lame copycat of Egghead. In fact, only this year did I finally order something from 'em.
