Should I tip the people delivering my new mattress?

I bought a new mattress, and its supposed to be here between 3PM - 7PM. Should I tip the guys who are delivering it?

If so, how much?

I'd give them $5 times "x" number of people working. Say "Sorry it's not much, but maybe you guys can grab lunch or a drink on me."

if you want to be nice, make sure to have your old mattresses/bed broke down and out of the way before they get there. my buddy used to deliver beds and that was annoying when they have to get there and move the old crap.

Best idea here, I say go for it. I'll assume you spent a few hundred on the mattress, what is another $10 gonna hurt?

and if x=10?

I tip the mattress guys. My bedroom is up a narrow staircase with a sharp turn at the top- it's difficult to get large objects up there. They deseved a tip. ($5 each x2)

if they need 10 people to move a mattress then they shouldn't be in the moving/shipping business

The most I've ever seen for large appliances and/or beds/mattresses is 3. I don't know who the hell would hire 10 guys to deliver a mattress.
