Should I switch to DDR? (and will both slots on a K7S5A work?)

Hmm...I'm debating wether or not to switch out the 256MB of PC133 that I've got for a couple of DDR sticks. My question is, is it worth the cost? This is my main rig, so it does games, office stuff, the works. I do a lot of MP3 and Divx encoding, along with some graphics work (mostly w/digital photographs). Also, it isn't uncommon for me to have quite a few programs open at any given time: WinAmp (more or less constantly), couple of IE windows, AOL Instant Messenger, Word, etc. I also tend to use my computer for other, less taxing work while it's encoding something. Once the Fall semester starts in august, I'm going to be doing programing work for a couple of classes as well. So, is it worth the cost to upgrade or not? I know getting MORE memory will deffinately help; that's one of the main reasons I want to switch to DDR - the second PC133 slot on my motherboard is flaky, so I can't add any more SDR memory unless I replace the single 256MB stick anyway.

PS: check sig for rig specs if you're interested

U will feel the difference of DDR when u switch to it.........
and the price of a DDR is now same as SDram.....so if u intend to change , go for DDR
works better if u using Amd Athlon Xp processor........

I realize that - that's why I was asking whether I should switch, and not just add a stick of DDR to what I've already got.
