Should I ship USPS or Fed Ex?

I am trying to ship a car stereo head unit to someone, not sure what shipping to use. Postal Service Priority, or Fed Ex 2 day. USPS Priority with insurance and delivery confirmation comes out to $14.00 to ship, Fed Ex two day is $17.35. Postal service is cheaper (and closer to me too), but is shipping a car stereo head unit USPS a good idea?

I'd go fedex three day, or even ground. Trackable, guaranteed on time, and will be less than USPS's priority price.

I like Fedex personally... always get my stuff from NewEgg on time and package is still in tact.

if its over $50 , use fed ex

About $200. I guess I'll go Fed Ex 2 day, it's only 1 dollar more than Express Saver, and not that much more than USPS.

Noooooooo, don;'t ship via Fed Ex. They could care less about your package unless you are a big business.. Go with USPS Priority... I have had nothing but problems with FedEx and only good experiences with USPS.. Go ask the people in the forsale\trade forum.. FED EX SUCK DONKEY BUTT .......

If it were documents or a CD or DVD I'd go USPS.

With a head unit that valuable, go with FedEx.

why is it that whenever somone says I am going to use this "shipper," someone always chimes in right after that with NO DON'T DO IT. I personally like FedEx over UPS and USPS. FedEx you get tracking, insurance up to $100(?), same with UPS. USPS you have to pay for "tracking" and insurance.
