well, I just ordered my amd 64 3500+, and a k8t mobo to go with it. Stupidly, I realized it was the k8t and not the k8n. I then became concerned because Nforce seems to be ruling these days. I read into it a little, and in many comparisons showed the k8N(nforce3) to have almost no lead over the k8t.) What do you guys think? should I dish out a lil exrta for a k8n, or jut stay with what I got?

Also, I ordered from PCdirect, probably stupid to ask, but does anyone have experience with them?
 
good to hear, this was just something I ordered out of being tired and slight stupidity. I haven't recieved it yet, so I'm not sure if I can cancel the order, or just wait and send it back. My main comcern was that in wasnt nforce3, aside from the nforce 4's (which I unfortunatley canniot buy due to my agp card) it's the best.
 
There is little or no differnce in peformance on the K8T vs. the nforce3 (or nf4 for that matter). I'd get the Abit AV8 or the ASUS AV8 Deluxe. If you want PCI-E get the Abit PCI version of the K8T890 (AX8 I think it is called maybe?)

Choose on features that suit you. Me I won't buy anything but Abit and ASUS (2nd choice)
