Should I sell my PS2?

I've been thinking about selling my PS2 since I never play games on it. All I use it for is the DVD feature. I could sell it, but a nice DVD player and still come away with some cash for Gamecube games😉

So I guess the real question is, how much should I put it up for (local Trading Post first, then AT)?

I've got:

PS2
2 Controllers (Both the Sony Brand)
GT3
All Star Baseball 2002
Madden 2002
Quarterback Club 2002 (still in plastic)
Jampack demo disk

Come on guys, don't get me in trouble. I'm not trying to sell it to anyone now, just looking for some reasonable prices I should ask for. Any ideas?
 
u should of post it on ebay earlier...
i sold mine @ $375 (first week of dec.)
two games(madden 01 & the bouncer)
8 mb mem card
dvd controller

and got my self a sony dvd player and game cube

check on ebay, i'm sure people still want the ps2
 
u should sell it if u dislike GTA3, DMC and MGS2. It guess 300-330 is reasonable. Act fast b4 the price drop or u'll regret.
 
Well ever since we got a gamecube up here at work the ps2 collects dust. Super smash bros owns all. I would ebay it if it was mine to sell.... like you said you only use it for dvd now anyways might as well get a real dvd player and some GC games 😉
 
Here's an Idea:

Sell all the games you don't play, then buy GTA3, play GTA3 until you are bored of it, (which won't be for a VERY long time 😉) then sell it and buy the cube.

Yeah man, GTA3 is a great game but I've already got the Cube and I'm hooked😉
 
i wonder how hard it would be to sell a picture of it again to the same guy...

just make him 'think' it is not a scam by using a different angle in your pictures. 😀
 
Is the extra controller you have generic?

I'd say $300 for someone you know and around $325 for someone online.

Sell it quick, there're rumors saying Playstation2 is going to lower their price. Many places are already selling it for $300 along with a free memory card and controller.

I heard somewhere that Blockbuster wasn't renting the game anymore because of the violence in it.
Maybe I'm wrong, they wern't blockbuster employees but I did hear it from 2 different people
Same with Toy's R Us, apparently they took it off the shelves

So is the price really going to go down? There was a thread in Hot Deals discussing this, but I didn't know if it was verified. If the price goes down I'm buying one 😀
