Should I RMA my card?

Hey guys, I need some advice on whether or not my card is faulty and if I should RMA it. I recently purchased a GTX 670 for a really good price, and while it's worked perfectly fine in some games (like Crysis 3 and Tomb Raider), in other games I get really weird graphical glitches and even crashes. For example

- in the FF14 ARR Beta, every 10-15 minutes of gameplay the framerate in my game slows to a crawl (from 80 fps to roughly 10fps) and then CTDs.
- in Neverwinter Online, I get this really annoying flickering effect at the bottom of the screen where the experience bar is.
- in The Secret World, the game crashes with an "Out of Memory" error roughly every hour of gameplay or so.

I've tested the card with both the stock drivers that came with the card (310.90) as well as the 314.22 drivers that others have been recommending, but I still get the same problems with both, leading me to believe that this may be a faulty hardware issue. And no, I haven't overclocked it at all, its running at stock speeds, same as my CPU. Should I go ahead and RMA it or not?

run furmark and/or occt and see if it crashes.

-----

had a 580. it would randomly crash in WoW with artifacts. with occt and furmark - pass with flying colors with zero error. decide to hold off rma.

a month or so later. the culprit was one of blizzard's update. now fixed after another blizzard update.

unless it crashes in every game or in gpu stress test. chances are it is the game or window itself or other related hardware.

It doesn't sound obvious that its a hardware issue yet. Run the stress tests, confirm everything else is working (CPU, RAM) with similar tests s well.

From what it sounds like, you had another video card in your system before this. I'm guessing that you didn't see these problems before? Finding faults is all about checking off the boxes (even the most menial) to ensure it isn't something else causing the problem!

Like the others said, try so stress testers, and also uniengine. I use that to test my overclocks and it is the best out there, so it should show any signs of anything wrong too. TBH the games you have mentioned sound more like they could be the culprit.

If you did have another GPU in your system before, try Driver Sweeper.
