I?ve had this board close to a year now and it?s been almost error free. However, from the beginning, I can?t overclock or else my PC freezes up with a HD error (see this post). I?ve just resorted to the stock speeds and everything is ok.
Since the beginning, I?ve had the MB hooked up to the network wirelessly, but recently I finally spent an entire weekend running wires so I can use the Media Center Edition with an XBOX 360. Almost immediately when watching TV on the MCE on the PC it freezes (again with a harddrive controller error), same for watching through the xbox. Using MS MCE Network Performance Tuner, I found that my wired Ethernet connection using the nvidia port was barely working. When I switched to the Marvell, I got a great strong connection. However, now I can watch TV for about 15 minutes before it freezes, again with a HD controller error. The HD is supposedly error free (using HD tune and Western Digital tools).
I?ve done about everything that I think I can do except reinstall XP.
So, basically, should I trying reinstalling XP and see what happens, or does this sound like a RMA since I'm having both a LAN and SATA controller problems?
