I went and got the Nine Hundred the other day since CompUSA had it on sale. I love it and hate it. The cooling is fantastic, I love that both HD cages have a 120MM fan. The 200MM fan is HUGE. I don't really like the PSU on the bottom and cable management is very difficult.

The controls/USB on top is great if you have the case on the ground. I have mine on my desk so it's not the best arrangement for me. The drive cages are a pain to put drives into, make sure you have a good magnetic screwdriver. There are tons of thumb screws holding things together. I was not expecting so many to be holding the drive cages in place.

The fan speed controls are great but the cables are too short. In my case the fan speed controlers are on the side of the drive cages furthest from the case opening. Makes it really hard to change speed once the case is loaded down with drives and wires.

I would have liked much longer fan power cables too. A fan hub/controller would have been a great addition to the case.

The case needs to be maybe 1" wider and 1 or 2" taller. Then there would be some cable management space.

Now that the case is together, I really like it but it wasn't as smooth as my other builds.

Yes. Spend more money. I dare you.

The Nine Hundred is way overpriced. Apart from a few large fans it's a pretty basic case.

I dont base my purchases on price, I base mine off of if I'm going to get use out of something and how much I'll enjoy it. If I see a case tomorrow I like more, I'll buy that one instead no doubt. Just love PCs here.

But my 900 rig is put together now.
And the verdict is in..

First, theres only one problem with the case, thats the HDD screws are recessed. Its retarded, you need a magnetic screwdriver (which I had to go buy) to get them in. All they have to do is cut the holes bigger on the recessed part so you can get your fingers in there to hold the screw and problem solved.

Other than that, theres no issues with this case.
Cable routing sucks, but thats true with all midtowers IMO. I dont have a lot of patience for it. They do have to great cable ties attached to the case for you to use and help a lot.. I didnt have to use any of my zip ties that I usually do.

As far as it being basic, I was ready to return to basics. Basic is good. A million trap doors and poor functionality is not.
I put the two extra fans in, so I have 5 120mm fans and the 1 200mm.

It runs quieter than my old super lanboy did as well. That one no one will believe, I didnt expect it either.
I cant think of a case on the market I'd buy instead for myself. Though I'd take a Stacker 830 if someone gave me one.

Other than those two, I'm not excited about the rest of the market. The best news is that this case looks a lot better in person than in the photos.
It looks like a gangly beast in the pics on the web. If I had a decent digital camera I'd take some photos.. I'll have access to one tomorrow.. I'll do that then if anyones interested.
