You wouldn't like my bike and exhaust. I have a drag racing pipe on mine. It's loud as hell and it's made for maximum power. 171hp to the rear wheel.

I had a custom dynotune and this is on a low reading dyno too. This bike smokes 99.9 percent of the cars out there unless you're driving some exotic $500,000 car.

Cool? It's loud as hell and shouldn't be driven on the street. Just like my neighbors built vette only drives to and from the track. It's loud, obnoxious, and far too powerful to be useful on the street.

cb750 wasnt really a cruiser, i went to pretty good lengths to make it sit back and up a bit, to get it away from the cafe it was originally. i dont really like sitting forward when i ride. i mainly tossed in the "special" part because you came off like such a dickwad about the whole thing, which pushed my buttons i guess. while you bitch about loud engines, people in their houses are bitching about that asshole driving by with the very loud stereo.

point is, people often bitch about others actions without taking a moment to realize they are annoying to someone else in a way they havent thought of or care about. shit happens. the "get a louder stereo" part was a joke from a local shop out here in az, they used to have a commercial where a guy was complaining that his car was making weird noises, and they suggested getting a better car stereo.

my truck is all stock too, down to the oem steel rims. i havent done any bolt on performance stuff on it, but i think the guy that had it before me put a muffler on it since its a bit louder than stock. sometimes it bothers me, most of the time i dont hear it.

Many motorcycle riders have gotten this idea that it is okay to speed around at 100mph on the highway when it is "mostly empty" or install loud straight pipes because the cops can't/won't do anything about it. Truth is though, they are considered complete assholes by most motorists for these actions. It may be a generalization, but a larger percentage of motorcyclists are asshole drivers than cars, likely because of a combination of factors; the people often attracted to motorcycles are generally bigger risk takers as well as performance vehicle enthusiasts.

These same motorcyclists will complain about how they were almost hit when a car tried to merge in their lane without realizing that most people don't constantly stare at their mirrors. If you're doing 120mph and pull into someone's blind spot while slowing down, there is a high probability that the driver will have never noticed them.

The same motorcyclists which laugh at Civics and other cars for their "fart can" exhausts go install straight pipes on their annoying motorcycles because for some reason it's "tasteful" when they do it. Just because it rumbles instead of buzz does not make it better. It's still incredibly loud and has no purpose other than to say "look at me."

I shouldn't have attacked you personally on the other hand, I don't know you and I don't know your bike. You pissed me off when you told me to grow a pair :p

I have a convertible and a very loud stereo. Maybe you loud ass motorcycle riders need to realize that to 90% of the population you look like a lovely human begging for attention. Your exhausts are no better than ricers and big fart pipes, and your motorcycles are no more special than their civics.

I would liketo clarify this is talking about exhausts which drone. I have no problem with a loud WOT. Any exhaust I have ever put on a car I made sure that drone wasn't any issue, for others and myself.

Dude, you just compared my Night Rod Special to a Civic...wtf is wrong with you?

;)

And I honestly don't care about attention from looking like big shit. I care about attention which gives me extra safety.

totally agree with you there, i call them statistics when i see them on the freeway. pisses me off to no end, also because they give all bikers a bad name when they do that shit. and some cops will do something about the noise, when i lost my pipe on the freeway one night i got pulled over for straight pipes. had to go to court and prove to the judge that i repaired it, couldnt even send in a repair order. straight pipes on that bike will give anyone a headache, even me when i rode it.

problem is, people dont watch for the ones that are riding the speed limit either. i saw a guy with a truck get onto the freeway and almost change lanes onto a harley that was going the limit, got all pissed and floored it past the bike and cut him off. the ones that are doing 100+ and get pissed are idiots anyway, and should mebbe eat a bit of bumper to remind them they should keep that on a track, not in public.

i agree to a point, its all about their style. i dont particularly like the fart can sound, but i rarely bitch about it unless its next to me and so loud i cant see straight. for the most part i dont notice either ones, loud bikes or cars.

I shouldn't have attacked you personally on the other hand, I don't know you and I don't know your bike. You pissed me off when you told me to grow a pair :p

ya, i shouldnt have put that, lol.

Wtf are you even talking about? You sound like an idiot trying to justify terrible drivers on the road. You SHOULD be staring into your mirrors 24/7, I know I do when I drive my car. I agree that some people get pipes and think they are bad ass and show off, but you are generalizing. Myself personally, I like the sound of my pipes because my stock pipes made my bike sound like an electric knife cutter from wal-mart. I also like the added safety factor to it.

I think he was right the first time when he told you to grow a pair, no one gives a sh1t about you and your convertible and your hate for bikers.

Also FYI, motorcycles are used as tools around the world simply because they get you to places quicker, and that includes splitting lanes and weaving around traffic. It's only in the US that they are seen as a luxury item.

I bet you're the guy at the stoplight who starts honking his horn like crazy when a bike lane splits and creeps out in front of you because it's going to take off when the light turns green.

Yes, you should look at your mirrors often, but when a motorcycle is going quickly in a situation that isn't high visibility (say over a hill) and comes into your blind spot, chances are he is not going to be seen. I mention this because it happened three days ago, motorcycle was hauling ass and got into my blind spot before slowing down because of the cop in front of me. Luckily, I had seen him before the hill and did a double take when going to change lanes.

You're supposed to look in your mirrors every 3-5 seconds. At 120mph a vehicle has traveled 528ft in 3 seconds, or 880 ft in 5 seconds. If I'm doing the speed limit at 60mph that's closing 264 ft in 3 seconds or 440 ft in 5. Not hard to miss.

No hate for bikers, hate for the morons of the bunch. Go drive around Dallas on bike night, you'll see what I mean. I've actually twice been in the situation where I was about to purchase one (a Monster and a Brutale) but both times I've decided against because I already have a "weekend" vehicle as a DD.

Ok? What does that have to do with loud ass exhausts and idiot riders?

Nope, it's illegal here and they don't generally do it. When they do, doesn't phase me because they get the fuck out of the way. I think it's dumb, but oh well, no effect on me.

it was illegal here too, they just changed the law on it. one time i flicked an ash out my window as i was stretching at a red light and smashed my hand on a cops helmet. no lights, siren or anything, he was just regular ole lane splitting. he got all pissy with me, but really nothing he could do, since he wasnt supposed to be doing what he did anyway. i also made sure i didnt get mouthy and give him a reason to do anything beyond bitch and moan.

Does any of crazysob's hate have to do with the fact he doesn't have one?
