Should I push 2.7ghz?

Well, i'm currently running 2.6ghz on my Opteron 170. (UMPW) On air with the Big typhoon and the Thermaltake Bluethunder 120mm fan. (still quiet but much more powerful then stock)
1.5v though it would run fine of 1.45v. Its just a simple OC, just slowly edged my way to 260fsb. It runs pretty cool at about 28-30 idle and in the 40's or more on load.

My question is, should I push it to 270fsb? Will my ram be able to take it?
Whats the best type of torture test on Prime95 to test it?

One last question, is there a programme where I can check CPU temp and so on in Windows as apposed to in BIOS?

Thanks

If it needs 1.45v to run 2.6ghz then I don't think it will make it to 2.7ghz without possibly more then the 1.5v your using now and I wouldn't go there...NOt worth the heat...

If your 2.6ghz can do 1.45v now then do that....Why run higher if you dont have to?

To be honest I doubt it even needs 1.45v.
I know this will make me sound stupid, but I just raised the temp.
I doubt the extra voltage will reallt affect long term life.
Because chances are I'll have a new processor in a years time.

If you want to test for heat just use S&M...it will biatch slap thet other program prime95 for generating heat...dont mess with vcore...voltage will kill and mame far faster then just warmer temps....

Why I bet it will still be alive in a year, I am sure you likely will sell it, right? Be fair to the next guy you didnt' give it like a 10 year habit of smoking ciggarettes...
