Ok, so if I were to say you have a room temperature IQ, that you're about as literate as a dead rat, and that I'd be surprised if you were any older than 15 - could I pass that off as observations and not attacks as well? :p Give me a break. I caught you in a bit of blatant hypocrisy, at least 'fess up and save a little face.

Your three questions are really just faces of one and it has been answered ad nauseum. I will not repeat the stated basic facts that answer it. Read.

Have fun with your ad homs. You're not worth my time or my energy.

And I'll consider your question unanswered, as nothing I've read from you even begins to address the basic premise of personal responsibility.

Newp, no attacks - that was merely a what-if. Sounding a bit like a broken record even to myself here, but again, the hormonal effects on sleep with regards to age have been gone over many times so far in this thread. If you don't understand it, I'm sorry but it's not a lack of explanation, just as turning a light off doesn't blink a room out of existence simply because one can't see it. Take a course on biology for better understanding. You say I'm not worth your time, but you got so riled up you didn't even realize how obviously you contradicted yourself - and are still so riled up that you won't admit it, possibly can't even see it. Keep it up, this is very entertaining :)

Go to bed earlier.

As a recent graduate of high school, all I can say is that was usually impossible. My day usually consisted of class, after-school activities (school-related that is), work, practice (musician), and homework. Even eating dinner on the fly would still put me to bed at 11 at the earliest. School started at 6:50.

My 2 cents.

edit-and I know someone's gonna make a crack about my post count-keep in mind most of that was legitimately accumulated during weekends, breaks, summer, and/or before my junior year.

The after-school activities, work, and practice were obviously more important to you than getting to sleep earlier. Nothing wrong with that... but that was your choice to make. Unless you've got some really strict parents, no one forced you to do those things.

Well, here's the thing: Work was necessary. Gotta go to college, gotta pay for gas, etc etc. Practice, well, I'm currently a music major. I couldn't really have done that without lots of practice, obviously. And the thing with after school activities is, even though they're optional, people look almost condascendingly toward you if you aren't involved. Maybe it's just the town I live in: people were dismayed at the fact that I didn't play any sports. Extracurriculars are really important to these people.

WTF are you all yelling about?!?!?! high school = sleep and college = yawn. Atleast you have to stay awake and somewhat pay attention in college. I go to a big ten school in a NON-slackoff major and i dont do shit...i will admit it. and i still get like a 3.2 on a 4 scale. high school is only for people who cant score like 1000 on the SATs or for the retards who want to pay like $35,000 to go to MIT. Yes they might get better jobs, but MIT has the highest suicide rate in the nation and the work load is so immense. i have a friend at MIT and half of the class cries every week cuz their homework is so impossible. back to the topic at hand...high school is a joke.

BTW, computer technology with a focus on telecommunications and networking. hopefully get a job with the NSA security the country before i die :)

dude definitely, whatever to cut school shorter man. i slept for maybe 5 hours a day in high school and would have loved nap breaks. but then again, i had free periods where i would just go to the library and pass out on a couch

I did in HS because I was tired. I knew I had to wake up at 545am to go to school, so I went to bed on time, to avoid being tired the next day. It's not rocket surgery. ;)

Thank god for running start. School starts, at the earliest, at 1pm... and ends, at the latest, at 7:30pm. Usually 2 hours per day. High school is for suckers.
