Should I pop the painful ant bites??

I got a lot of ant bites over the weekend. About ten on my leg and three on my hand. The ones on my leg are not bothering me, but the three ones on my hand, right next to each other, are extremely inflamed and I can three 3 little white pus dots like when you get pimples. My question is should I pop these and try to remove all the pus that is filled up inside??

Although having said that for the practical side of me, the picking side of me would have to pop them knowing darn well that I should not!

I had 2 this summer from the little black ants. I picked them. I was powerless to not pick them, but that said it took weeks for the wounds to properly heal, one on my hand, the other on my toe. Little bastards. I've killed thousands this year so that makes me feel better.

I've never had an ant bite me and leave something that could be popped.

Even the biggest ants around here, carpenter ants, can't even pierce your skin.. it just kinda pinches.

lol same here...i never had ant bites that are that severe..nor have i heard of them in my area...only place i've heard of them is here...


if i ever got that, i'd pop it right away. Because if yyou shake hands w/ someone, and the other dude sees it, the other dude will feel uncomfortable (me thinks)

so i'd pop it, and sanitize it every single day

You obviously have never been to the South. Fire ants have been know to kill people, well at least if the person happen to be allergic to their venom and was bitten many, many times.
