im on a amd t-bird 1.2 ghz w/ volcano II heatsink, the prob is that the cpu temp is 55C/130F when im browsing the internet and im getting a lil worried. i only want to overclock to 1.33 ghz but i dont know if i should wait till i buy a better heatsink, what do you think?? btw im on an iwill kk266 and it seems petty stable except for a few crashes.

The Volacano II should be fine for overclocking. If you want to run it continuosly at 1.33GHz then you might want to buy a better one. Try it with the Volcano II and see how it works. Good luck. 🙂

I not very schooled in Volcano heatsinks...Are they cheap crap???

My 1.1@1.2 cooled by 9.00 HSF is running 38c idle and 45c load...last night it got chilly in the office with window opened (like 60 something room temp) cpu went to 30c idle...I then downloaded some stuff encoded a movies and browsed the internet as well as listen to mp3 all at the same time and the temp went to 33c...nice!!!

What is the state of case cooling? How hot is the room temperature? case temp? system/ mobo temp?
