Is it gonna boast performance? Do you need to install it for sb live 5.1 to work?

Also, has anybody intsalled the new AGP 410 driver?

General rule of thumb when it comes to WinXP and 4-in-1 drivers ... If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

This is especially true with WinXP with it being so driver sensitive right now... I'd wait for a Service Pack before I changed 4-in-1's...

Hope that helped somewhat.

And on the other hand, I've been running XP Pro for a few months w/o 4-in-1's and I have zero problems what-so-ever.

Win XP has native support for the 4-in-1's, therefore you are using them.

Pretty much, as you can tell.... if your computer is running fine, leave it alone.

If not, give the new 4-in-1's a shot.

Good luck.

My computer would freeze for like 5~15 seconds with my tvtuner card. The 4in1 fixed that. I also installed the AGP 410 driver at the same time.

I am using Win XP 4-in-1s and no problems so far. I'm not gonna update to new 4-in-1s unless problems arise, which is extremely doubtful.

You guys are pretty lucky consider the numerous problems that other via users have when they install the 4in1.
I guess I shouldnt install them if I have no problems.

As John said, WinXP comes bundled with 4 in 1s already in place.
You don't do anything special to install them, Windows does it for you.

I heard that WinXP installs version 4.32 for you. But Viatech's newest 4 in 1 set is 4.35, so I think that it's worth installing newer 4 in 1 drivers. Personally, I installed the 4 in 1's right after I installed WinXP.
