Should I install SMBus driver?

SMBus = system management bus drivers, includes drivers for nforce hypertransport bridge, PCI system management, and PCI-Express root port. You should install these.
 
Yes, from my experience.

It is one of the first drivers that I install and it seems to help out quite a bit on a clean install.
Not entirely sure what it does but is good nonetheless.
