It pisses me off to see ****** like that too. Can't really do anything about it... I don't understand why it's so hard to just throw things into a garbage can...

I was driving in LA looking for an apartment in the westside when I saw the most blatant littering in my life. I was driving behind a truck on the freeway and we both got off on the next off-ramp. While we were exiting, he pours some liquid out of his window. Doesn't seem so bad at first but it gets better. After pouring out the liquid (which I believe was cola) he tosses the cup out the window. Then he digs around in the back of the truck and pulls out a fast food bag and tosses that out the window with all the contents spilling out. He then proceeds to throw a few other pieces out of the window before he pulls out a full on trash bag filled to the brim with trash. I'm not talking about those small, kitchen trash bags, I'm talking about the full size, cylindrical can, outdoor usage bags. He poors all of the contents of the bag all over the off-ramp (it's a long off-ramp) onto the ground and once empty, dumps the bag. It was quite a sight.

America, land of, "See a something that's blatantly wrong? STFU, MYOB!!!!" and "I'm entitled to make anywhere my own personal landfill. It's in the Constitution. Right?"

Such a wealthy country, with such extensive laziness.
It's funny, in college now, with generally fit, healthy people, moreso than those I saw while working at Walmart, and the people here seem far lazier. Here, carrying a 20lb box of folded papers to another building is a major chore. At Walmart, using a pallet jack to lug a pallet of water bottles or rock salt, either one weighing around a full ton, that really was a major chore. You people are in fine condition, you've got plenty of food available - expend the damn calories and stop being so lazy and arrogant.

Horray for progress towards reaching a totally peaceful civilization. Carlos Mencia said something about how we were busy with the petty fighting amongst ourselves, but then 9/11 came, and we united against a common enemy. But he said that we do that petty fighting because we're just bored. Sadly, I see some truth to that.

Pick it up and give it to him and say. "I think you dropped this." That'll put him in his place, and he can't really say anything to that.
