I sometimes think of all the time of my life I'd get back from not having to shave if I let mine grow. I'd be a wizard lord in like a month.
 
I used to have a beard that tickled my chest whenever I moved my head, now it never gets past an inch long as the missus doesn't like a big beard.

A beard is worth a shot, some can't grow one at all.
 
I don't think anything can make you any more ugly, so go for it, make sure to post the picture with neckbeard so we can see if it improves your looks.

You would look terrible with one. Neckbeards work on a very select group of people and your not in the group.
