Should I go with 1440p or 144hz monitor to go with 1070?

Ok so I just ordered 1070 the other day i am wondering am i better off with 1440p or 144hz monitor. I mainly play mmo and some triple A games like doom on my computer. I am trying to not to spend too much on it and keeping it in 24 or 25 inch range as I am already running dual monitor set up on my table

I would go with both and get a 27 inch one as a 24 inch would be too small for 1440p.

If you can afford a $400 gpu you can afford a decent $400-$500 tn monitor that fits all of these.

Otherwise go for 144hz I say if you still need a smaller monitor.
