Should I go snowboarding tomorrow or not?

I'm heading home for the weekend to go to my future mother-in-law's bday party. The party is tomorrow night and I'm sure my fiance will be staying with her parents tonight. So that will leave a good part of Saturday for me to do whatever... Is it worth driving an hour each way to the slopes to enjoy crappy frozen granular conditions. A Saturday lift ticket is between $50 and $56 depending on which resort I hit.

This would probably be my last attempt to go unless I decide to try again during Spring Break. Any thoughts?

Cliffs: Crappy snow, $56 lift ticket, is it worth it?

yes, you'll feel like you accomplished something that day... and burn some calories

otherwise you'll be sitting on your trash surfing AT. $50 isn't too much.

I'm going to Heavenly tomorrow, i think the recent rain should provide for some pretty good snow. Tickets are only $59 (compared to normal ticket price of $72) at Albertson's. Never went before, but this is the 4th time snowboarding this season (4 different resorts).

I actually went last weekend and it was a blast. Go!

Me too!
The tickets over at your area are expensive though. When I went to Wisconsin last week, it cost me like 43$ for a full day (10am-10pm). But it was EXTREMELY cold! Something like 0-5 F. Very fun though, a great way to kill some time (and calories). :D

When you have a chance to get a life outside of AT go fot it! Besides the snow condition will just get worse as it's probably not getting any colder.

Poser. Anybody that would have to ask is a poser. A die hard would go with rocks sticking out in the rain. :p
