Maybe you're diabetic and don't realize it?

When was the last time you had blood work done?

Never been test for diabetes. Last bloodwork was probably a year or so ago.

Onset from food poisoning can be very fast, 1 hour or less in some cases. Depends a lot on dosage and specific toxin.

Yes, and heavy metal poisoning can hit in less than 30 seconds but, the vast majority of food borne illnesses take quite a few hours to present.

honestly. you are probably going to die.

You should say all the things you've held back about your direct supervisor and coworkers. You don't want to die without saying those things.

I would say, thank me later, but.... you really aren't going to make it.

I've had it once, and I think it hit me like at least 12-16 hours later. In the commercial area of the Orlando Airport, there are these "roach coaches", basically delivery-looking trucks gutted and turned into mobile food service vehicles. One of them served Chinese food. One evening I went to this place, just as they were closing down, and ordered 2 Egg Rolls. I think the guys had to re-start the fryers as they were about to close up shop for the night (around 10PM or so). Well, they tasted just fine at that time, but the next day around 5-6PM or so it hit me hard. I hadn't thrown up in literally 15 years and I puked my guts out that evening. I don't think I had diarrhea but I felt so incredibly weak. Couldn't even drive myself to the hospital.

Went to the ER, and waited for like 2-3 hours and still hadn't been sent to a room yet. Talked to another patient in the ER that was there for chest pain and she had been there like 5 hours. I decided what I really needed was sleep, so I got driven home. Got some rest and was ok the next day. Man, that royally blew.

Phenergan (sp?) and Demerol via IV. I've had it done once and my wife 2x.

This reminds me of when a buddy of mine got food poisoning. We stopped and got gas at a gas station and he got a hotdog. Half way through the hotdog he says "this tastes funny" and throws it out the window. Sure enough the next day hes sick as a dog. Hes sick for about a week and looses about 30 pounds.

Classic Ebola symptoms. You'll be dead in a few hours.

Don't do it. He'll just recommend you take Immodium and charge you $200 for your visit.
