Should I get WD 100JB Hard Drive

I need a replacement for my maxtor drive and newegg has the WD drive for $200, and the 120gb version for $217. Are they work the money

If you have a local Best Buys, get it there. I got my WD 100gb drive there for $189, and the 120gb was $249. So in that case, it wasn't worth the extra money.

I've had zero problems with my new 100gb, and it is noticeably faster than the older WD 40gb I had.

Best Buy does not carry the JB series as I know of.
I was just there and they only carry 100BB and 120BB drives not the JB series.

That's correct, no such drives at BB. I just got 120GB JB model from Dell for $180 shipped, I'm happy 😀

Does anyone have any experience re noise levels of the WD JB drives compared to either the Seagate Barracuda IV or Maxtor D740X FDB drives? I'm contemplating the WD 100GB JB drive for a new system I'll be building soon, but now that I've had a taste of the Barracuda IV I'm not sure another drive will measure up, noise wise.
