Should i get the PS2 or not??

Ok when i didnt get one on launch i was very disapointer but now i had my name on a list at my local EB and they called me yesterday saying they have one and i told them to hold it untill later tonight. Should i get it or not??? i need some opinions, im getting mixed feelings from everyone. I love my DC and and its games IE Shenmue, NFL2k1 but im thinking of adding the PS2 to my collection, is this a wise choice or no??? thnx

I have a DC and a PS2. I play my DC alot more. But, Madden2001 is awsome! Still though, I pick the DC.

I also say if you got the money to spare then get it... even though you MAY not play much, you can still use PS2 as a DVD player...

Well im kinda getting it for christmas early and most of the money its paid for will not be mine= ) if the feeling your getting at is it may not get played too too much but its a good thing to have arround, then i think i will get it - unfortunatly i have a dvd =/ but anyways i will probly end up getting it

Damn, I sure hate to be the ONLY voice of reason here, but why don't you buy it (with your own money) and resell it at a profit? Buy another after Christmas at regular price if you just gotta have it...
