Forget reviews, get a demo or find somebody who has it and play on their computer.

Reviews mean dick. They gave Doom3 a 97%.
Its better to see for yourself.

If you get the demo, find some mods for it. I played the full version at a friends house, and I have a copy coming from Amazon. Only $43 dollars on amazon, so a little cheaper then normal. Free shipping too of course.

well, I bought it... really kinda depends what you are looking for. I was looking for a new Star Wars Rebellion, which IMO isan AMAZING Star Wars game, and E@W was not it. It is an ok game, but it kinda seems a little rushed and underdeveloped. If you like Star Wars games, go for it, it will be fun. But it is NOT a really good game, only average.

I think it's better than average. I have enjoyed what little time I have put into it so far. It's kind of like Battle for Middle-Earth meets Imperium Galactica 2. Except better.

I'd rate it as better than average, but not great. It has good graphics and presentation, as well as that esoteric "Star Wars" feel to it. But, the single-player campaigns are pretty short, and there's not a whole lot of depth to the game. If you're a Star Wars fan, you'll love it. If you're looking for the next big thing in RTS games, you won't find it here.

If what you say is true then that sounds exactly like what I want.
