Right now, i have the following specs

1ghz Duron @ 1.2ghz
ECS K7S5A
383mb PC-150 Cas 3
Maxtor 12gb 7200RPM
Radeon LE at 189/189
SB LIve Value
ATI TV Wonder VE
50x Afreey CD-Rom
Liteon 32x12x40x burner

Anyways, i have to get a new video card for my old system with the following specs:

P3 750 (can do 900)
Asus P3B-F
128mb PC-133 CAS 2
QUantum 4.8gb 5400RPM
S3 Virge VX :D
Generic sound card
2x CD-Rom i think
ATI TV Wonder VE

Anyways, i have to get a new video card for my second system (the one w/ the S3 Virge) and i have basically 2 choices. A TNT2 (around $48 CDN) or spend a bit more and get a Radeon 7500 and i'd take the 7500 in my 1.2ghz Duron and put the Radeon LE in the P3 system. The 7500 is around $128 CDN before tax (this is OEM). Now is it worth it? I dont have the money right now to geta Radeon 8500 LE 128mb ($249 CDN) although i dont HAVE to get the Video righhht now. I can wait a few weeks, and by then i migh thave saved up enough for the Radeon 8500. Should i wait? or spill for the TNT2 or the R7500 now? Also taking into consideration i might get a new system this X-mas, and spending close to $300 on a video card isn't going to bode well w/ my parents? WEll, thx for the help

a 7500 is way better than a tnt2 card
no debate there
dunno how well the 7500 will fair in newer games but it isn't too bad of a card
i would do it

hmmm two weeks wait for an 8500 might be worth the wait
but if you wanna save money for xmas and need a card now then get the 7500 and save for the R300 or NV30 in the fall

The 7500 is a perfect match for that system. Go get one! Just make sure it's a retail 'Built by ATI'.

the 7500 will do just fine!!!!
But if you can wait get the cheapest R8500 which is overall a much better card!!!
