Should I get a double shower curtain rod or a single one?

Some people like to have a decorative fabric curtain on the outside that is separate from the inside curtain.

Figured, we have a mono one right now and have that on the outside anyway, so i wasn't exactly sure. Didn't know if it was easier or something.

I have a single rod. On it I hang the inner shower liner, and the outer decorative curtain. I use the same curtain hangers for both the liner and the curtain. I can't see a lot of benefit to the double rod.

eh? you can hang an inner and outer on the same rod, same set of rings. ...why make a double? is that a 1%er type thing?

You have a shower curtain (w/ flowers!) that goes outside of the tube for decoration, then you have a shower liner (plain white) that goes inside to keep the water in. Simple enough.

With a single rod, the decorative curtain slides along with the inside curtain.

You need two rods for a non-moving decorative outer curtain, like this:
