se7enty7 i prolly once i figure out the route, find where relatives live (yea, my grandparents had 11 kids, so they are scattered all over the place) and post on here, but thats gunna depend upon who i take lol.

and yes, gas prices will hurt, but highway speeds, car, manual. shouldnt be to horrific, i only get 15mpg here with my jimmy.

also, for a route, umm dont take me to anywhere where i am gunna get screwed using the clutch, ive only driven one standard so far, and that was only for a night. although it wasnt to hard hill starts sucked.

Drive the Northern end of Hwy1 in Cali. Consider Hwy49 through the Gold Rush area. If you like long, lonely, picturesque roads Hwy50 across Nevada is a must. It's a series of 3500' broad flat valleys with 7200' crests every
25-60 miles, it will take you into Ely NV. If you want to hug the Canadian boarder, take Hwy2. Just don't try drinking on
the reservations you will cross. If you go South, make sure its day light when you cross the painted desert in NM.
When in Utah, Brice & Zion are a must see, if you got the time. I've driven all that and more two up on a M/C.

Get a good ice chest as food can cost more than fuel. Make sure the car has a full service and decent tires.
