Should I fix my Saab?

So, when I moved off to college a couple years ago my dad bought me a 2000 Saab 9-5 with 130k miles for $4800. Long story short, It blew a head gasket about 4 months later and has sat since Xmas 08

We deemed that it probably wasn't worth the trouble to fix a potentially bombed motor, and since I would be getting a job I would be able to afford a newer car without problems (got a fusion and have been happy since)

Lately I've been considering getting it fixed, and maybe selling my fusion to drop a car payment, I'm looking for more experienced input

- What sort of damage would be caused by letting that oil sit in the car for this long? I didn't drain it, and it was at first milky with coolant. I checked again about a month after I parked it and it looked normal.

- What might it cost to replace the gasket, and do any work necessitated by damage due to it sitting?

- Would finding a salvage/rebuilt engine just be easier? If so, any ideas on price/where to find one?

- Or should I just forget it and sell it for what I can get out of it? The interior is still showroom-pristine, though the exterior has its fair share of bumps and scratches

What motor?

I bought a 900SE with the 4cyl Turbo, I think it was a 96. The last owner blew the head gasket and let it sit a couple years. I did an in car rebuild. I pulled the turbo (rebuilt it with kit from eBay), pulled the head and replaced it (cheap one from eBay and had a machine shop go through it), pulled the pistons and replaced the rings, and replaced the Timing chain with a spilt one. I did not remove the block just did it with it still in the car. Also replaced all the other small wear items like water pump and such.
Went to several sites from Rockauto.com for the basic stuff, a couple Saab/European car sites, and eBay for the head/turbo kit.
Once it was done it ran very well and I just had all the small nickel and dime problems you get with an out of warranty European car. So I fixed them as they came. But the car was very fun to drive and I did some upgrades as well. Sold it as wife can’t drive stick and needed a more reliable car, so got the CTS next.

So yea you can fix it, if you have the knowhow.

2.3 turbo, I believe the 230HP flavor

My dad checked the dipstick the other day and said the oil was actually normal looking, is it possible for the coolant to separate back out? If so is that worse than it staying in the oil (as far as letting it sit in the pan for over a year, I can't help but think the bottom end sitting in milk-oil for that long has to muck something up)

My dad and I can fix about anything, we could rebuild the whole thing if we could find a manual
