Not about fast, it is all about the rumble 😀

There will be no chrome.

I have a Ram with the 5.9 and it sounds so sweet with my dual exhaust. People turn their heads when I gun it, makes me smile a wicked smile 🙂 Go for it!

OH and I have a cap, it was loud on highways so I added padding under the liner which helped a lot.

i thought you meant make it a duallie, as in dual rear wheels on each side. You should do that.

and duallies up front too !

Agreed. Big fat waste of money if you ask me.

Hmm, what can I do to make my truck less enjoyable to drive on long distances...first I'll raise it...then I'll throw on some righteous knobby off road tires that make a really really obnoxious drone while I drive it...then I'll put dual exhaust on it.

You know what you'll have then? A completely worthless POS truck that gets horrible gas mileage and you will hate riding in.

I say go for it! The bigger the better.

It is a 2 wheel drive and this would be the only "Mod" being done to it. I just want it to sound nice..

I got it for $4,700.00... I don't care if it looks great or not, just as long as the sound is nice and smooth.

Me puts on flame suit....

I have a 97 Ram with the 5.9. I put the Flowmaster American Thunder kit on there. Dual pipes straight out the back with a flowmaster 50 muffler. Sounds nice. Very quiet compared to alot of other mufflers. Has a nice purr at idle and roars pretty good when you get into the throttle. Nothing obscene, though.

If I had to do it over again, I'd probably go with the single 3" pipe instead of the duals.
