Should I do my econometrics hw?

there will only be two things matter for my grade; midterm and final 50% each. I am not sure why my professor gives out hw to do...

dare i suggest that the answers to the homework are almost certainly not going to be the answers to the exams?

in my experience, being able to DO the stuff is actually what you need to do well...
