Hi, I have the ZALMAN CNPS9500 heatsink/fan. One of the greater features is that the fan speed adjust to the cpu temperature. My question is, I have my processor oced about 20%, cpu temp idles about 34-37c (enabled). I was wondering if I should disable the automatic fan speed in Bios to have the fan speed to run 100%, or Should I enable? Any advice would be greatly appreaciated. Thank you very much.

Does the noise of fan at full speed bothers you, or do you prefer it it be quieter? If not, then just leave it at full speed for peace of mind, especially since you have overclocked it.

I would enable it. It doesn't make any sens to have the fan blowing at full speed when your computer is in idle for example.

I second that. When running at idle or doing web browsing, email etc, I don't run any cooler (or at least not much) with the fan running at full speed as opposed to the half speed it will run at with the automatic fan speed control enabled. Full speed is a LOT louder and has no benefit unless running under conditions such as high load that really need it.
