Well here's the short story:

I am student worker at my Uni, doing tech support IT stuff. Many of the things I have to do, I have to consult with some of the regular full time employees to make sure that what I am doing is what they want (usually relating to web stuff). Well, it has happened quite often that they are usually here really late, I am a student I do not work at 8 am, but I am here that early to make sure to stay on top of my work, yet I can not meet with them. I have to wait around for them, I send them emails, and they dont respond back or get back to me only when I go see them.

Today is a perfect example, came in (12PM) had to meet with my supervisor, she wasn't there. Then when I did finally see her (3PM) she was busy, talking to other co workers about personal matters, and could not meet.

This is really driving me up the wall, I have to wait around for them, sure I can go on to other things, but it breaks up my work flow. Should I bring this up to the director? Or should I just keep my mouth shuts, since I am just a student worker?

Well,

You get paid if you are at work. Make the most of it.
Did you work from noon-3?

Whaaat? You have work ethic?? Eww. You'd better get that fixed, and in a hurry too.
Do as little as possible to keep from getting fired, that's the American Way! ;)

nah, dont bother. Not worth the fight...if it was a career job i might say different though.

I'm going to say you should keep quiet.

Not because you are "just a student worker", but because you may not know the whole story. By going to the director you will possibly unleash a load of crap on the same people from whom you want cooperation. Or, the director may be a real PITA and not handle it well, creating an even worse problem. Or, the people have to complete tasks that are more urgent (which you might not be aware of) and they are honestly doing the best they can.

Is there any way you can arrange to meet with them at a time more convenient for them? Maybe it's not during your regular work schedule, but possibly you can squeeze in a half-hour once in a while when they are available, which might make it possible for you to be more productive during your regular hours.
