Should I call 911 again?

After I called 911 about a week ago, they've been quite but I guess they're back in their usual routine. I really do not understand what this couple is going through. They fight mad 2-3 times a week and have mad sex once in two days. What kind of relationship is that? Yesterday was quite amazing too. I heard them having mad sex sometime in the morning then mad fighting around 3 p.m followed by another mad fight around 8 p.m then mad sex around 1 a.m.

I often hear the girl screaming her lungs out and now I hear this guy screaming "Leave me alone" and this bumping noise that I'm afraid the ceiling may fall down.
And, this is one of the best apartments in town. It's new, a lot more expensive than other apartments, and people living here are not low life scumbags except this couple upstairs. Before they moved in 2 month ago, I've never heard of any neighor making any sort of noise.

Well, I'm sitting here thinking whether I should call 911 again or not. Because I came from a country where people don't really call 911 over noise issues, I have this hesitation about calling cops. Last time was different as I heard the girl screaming "Stop hitting me" but today all I hear is this guy screaming and now crying like a little girl.

Grrrrr.........I really wonder what's up with this couple. They'd make one hell of reality TV show.

Above is my old thread about this issue.

i'd tell management.

edit: if anything, its not necessary to call 911, just get the number of the local PD and ask them to check it out.

BTW you can contact the police without calling 911. Someone needs help and your on the other line about your upstairs neighbor that cries like a little girl... 😉

EDIT: wfbberzerker beat me to it

I had neighbors like that once. I let it go till I couldn't stand it anymore. (I was seriously afraid they were going to kill each other) Then I called the cops. The next morning I went over to their condo and told them it was I who had called the cops. The dude was pissed. I explained how I didn't appreciate hearing their personal life every night and if they would just chill out everything would be fine.

The next night... more abusive noises. I called the cops. As a matter of fact I wound up calling the cops 10 more times that month. The cops knew what was up when my number popped up on their screen at the 911 dispatch. We wound up on a first name basis.

"911 dispatch"
"Hi Kathy, how's it going tonight?"
"Fine Jon. Are they at it again?"
"Yup"
"We'll be right over"

The next month they moved out. Problem solved.

I hated living in apartments. I love living in a house.

I am gonna end up back in a flippin apartment soon so that I can live with my gf... the things we do for love.

911 is for emergencies, not noise complaints. you should know that.

Many, many people have told me that... but I know several dispatchers that say it really doesn't matter which you call, it still goes to the same incoming phone trunk :-\ (at least in the few cities that they work in)

Just be glad you aren't living next to vietnamese people.

If you watched the vietnamese couple on cops... you know what i mean.
