Should I buy world of warcraft?

I stand by what i've said...

like I said.. all MMOs end game is the same... you farm for gear... EQ1 EQ2 AC AC2 AO etc etc etc...

what are you looking for from an MMO?

Looking for? hm, that's the question isn't it. I know i don't want farming. I want '97 UO back. But, since that's not going to happen, I want a game with the best aspects of that plus a whole crap load more and without farming. I want a fundamentally different mmo, one that focuses on keeping the customers paying by providing a fun, exciting and vibrant world without needing to resort to excessive repetition such as farming and the other issues i've mentioned.

Well in the mean time mal if you got an Xbox .. Jade Empire is coming soon to fill some RPG needs.

I don't, anything on pc coming soon in the rpg department? I know dungeon lords, dungeon siege 2, oblivion and stalker are all this year sometime but who knows when. Bard's Tale is inc also. Should be a good gaming year come to think of it!

MMOs though...blah, Vanguard and Darkfall are when? 06? 07?

My wife has never played a computer game before World of Warcraft and she loves playing. I have played since February of last year in the alpha and closed beta test and I still enjoy playing.
