Should I buy two GTX 690s?

Must be running three 30" displays eh?

But in all actuality, I bet you could not even find two GTX690's to buy even if you wanted too.

You should really just by ALL the GTX690s and hand off all the extras (just don't forget to send one my way).

It would easily do 5x1080 portrait, if it could.

No, it won't.

1. That would be like running 1440p with a 7950 stock. Ok sometimes, not okay other times, but mostly okayish, but not exceptional.

2. 2GB VRAM won't cut it anyway.

If you want to do surround, preferably go for 4 4gb 680s as that would never suffer due to anything, and perhaps oc a bit higher too.

My guess is the OP might be able to buy a used G92 based card if he takes out the trash and mows the lawn all summer.

I have a custom duck tape secured 9800 GT that will do 815/1840/900, comes with two "special" 80mm case fans for optimal cooling (also requires you plug one into your mobo).

Let me know OP.

I could see the 2gig vram being an issue in some games. 2x690's though would have the horsepower to push the pixels though.
