Should I buy three identical pairs of jeans?

Simple question. I already ordered Levi's 505 jeans from Kohl's with a 30% off coupon, making it around $20 shipped, in the Sub Zero wash. This was two days ago, and they've shipped already.

I was looking around on SD for deals on Levi's and discovered Sears had $15 Levi's 505s... but the catch was, they only had them in Sub Zero in my size (32x30). Shipping is $7, and I don't have access to a car, so I can't ship to store. Therefore, the only economical way to buy these $15 jeans is to buy at least two at a time.

Will anyone notice that my pants are always always exactly the same? I normally wear my jeans for about two weeks anyway, unless I spill something on them or get them dirty. I figure that in daily wear, unless I sweat (which is not usual in daily circumstances) my jeans won't get dirty. The only real issue here is whether or not people will notice/care.

Thoughts?

who cares? you are the one wearing them. If you are fine, do it. I tend to buy multiples, saves times

If they are your favorite wash I'd probably get one more pair. Like you I mix jeans for about 2-3 weeks before washing, but when I mix it's different washes...I think things would get too repetitive w/3 of same pair.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I currently rotate through two pairs of Levis - one Sub Zero and one which I think is a stonewash. Not long ago I realized that my sub zero had a large hole not only in the left knee area, but also in the crotch area... I just never noticed :hmm:.

However it looks like the point of moot - Sears only has one of these jeans available to ship 🙁 guess I'll only have two pairs of new jeans.

I have two pairs of 501's that are exactly the same. For some reason the color I bought was the only one that fit correctly.

what?
iew....
no ones that clean.

Why not? If you're anything like me, good jeans are hard to find. When I find a pair that I like, I like to get more than one.

wait, you wear the same jeans for 2 weeks in a row and aren't worried about people noticing that, but worried about people noticing that you have 3 pairs of the same jeans? this thread makes no sense.

If I like something, anything, I will try to get multiples of it so I can use it all the time.
Jeans need to be washed once in a while so having extras is a good idea.
Ditto for plates or silverware or glasses I like.
I have about 8 of the same type of dish from Corelle and thats pretty much all I ever use for food. I can always make plenty of meals and not have to worry about the dishwasher for a little while.
Never understood why my parents had about 20 different dishes in the cupboard. You end up using your favorite 2 or 3 all the time and the rest just sit there, collecting dust.

Same for the jeans. If you have 5 different types you probably wear one of them way more often than the rest, even if you dont realize it. Would make more sense to just have 2 or 3 of the kind you love and then it wont matter. You'll always be comfortable.

i only own 3 pairs of jeans 2 are same wash, 1 is slightly diff. I only buy one type of jean because its the only one that fits me well

Yes, buy more jeans. I've always had a hard time finding jeans that fit correctly. Then when I have found them, I've only purchased one or two pairs that wear out in 6 months. Then, when I need to buy more, the jeans I like are discontinued 🙁

Just recently I've taken to buying in bulk, I just got five pairs in January.

5 pairs of jeans is not bulk.

I've been wearing the same kind of jeans (Faded Glory original in 2 colors (black & blue) at work for about a year and nobody cares/notices. I rotate between 5 pairs in 2 weeks time then wash them. Just keep them straight and clean.

Yeah, I was kind of wondering the same thing.

I also wear the same style of pants every day. And to select a shirt, I go with what's on top of the pile of clean ones.
I also have about as much interest in fashion as I do in John McCain's prostate health, so that could also be a factor in my clothing choices.

Why the fuck not? Jeans are jeans, and if you find good ones that fit well for cheap... you stock the fuck up.

I found a very comfortable pair of Calvin Klein jeans once. The most comfortable pair of jeans I had ever put on. I went to grab a few more pairs before checking out, but decided to try them on first just to be sure. None of them felt like the first pair I tried on. 🙁

I still haven't found really comfortable jeans under $100.
