Should I Buy Seasons 1 - 3 of 24?

I know I'm at least going to rent them since I missed the first 3 seasons .... I started watching this season.

And I think it's better when you watch them consecutively, not over the course of many months.
 
Buy a year Netflix subscription instead and rent them. If you ever want to watch them again, just put them back into your netflix queue.
 
I am a huge fan of the show and I find it to be the single best program on the television at the moment. However I really don't see that show proving a lot of entertainment in terms of repeat watching. The show is so great because of the suspense, if you were to watch it over and over it would really lose that edge to it.

It may be worthwhile to watch each season once more to see if there are any little things to pick up, but besides that I would never buy them on DVD.
 
I bought season 1 and love having it. I have only watched it twice, but I love letting friends borrow it and then get hooked on it. I then get credit for knowing about it first.
 
I just started watching 24 this season and I got hooked on it. I'm not sure what I missed during the first 3 seasons.

Same here, but I doubt I'm addicted enough to watch all the previous seasons

The credit in itself is worth the ~100 or so dollars you will spend on all three seasons 🙂
 
i started watching this season like a lot of you.
co-worker let me borrow season 1, i watched all 6 discs in a weekend. geez, this show is like crack.
i'm goin to have to netflix 2 & 3.

Just rent from Netflix when ever you want to watch them.
 
This is how I viewed all the seasons:

Season 1: Bought it through amazon.com for $24.99. I added chapstick to get free shipping.

Season 2: It took be a little over a week to download all 9 gigs of episodes through Bittorent.

Season 3: I tried out Blockbuster.com for free for a 4 week period. Put all Season 3 discs in my queue.

Season 4: Watched all of them on Fox, Monday at 9 PM, except for Episode 1 and 2. Those I had to torrent. (I started watching 24 on episode 3 of s4)
