I'm a big fan of the Logitech Optical mice...i've got a few of em and I just they just fit my hand better than the microsoft ones...

Another vote for the MS Intellimouse Explorer 3.0
I love it. It's smooth and fits my hand perfectly. 🙂
Not to mention how useful the 2 extra buttons are in Wolfenstein? Hee hee

But seriously, try a whole bunch out.. just because others like a particular mouse, won't mean you like it.

I didn't notice much difference between my ball mouse and optical until I tried going back to the ball mouse. I never realized how unsmooth and bumpy it was. You can practically feel every peice of dust the ball runs over... once you go optical its hard to go back. I use logitech BTW... simply the best.

I vote for MS intellimouse!!!! It have survived all this abuse i've given it all this time. Been playing Diablo II since it first came out and until today it still survived all those brutal clicks i gave it 😀
Well if you ever played diablo you know what a click-fest game that is 😉 oh yeah and the movement of optical mouse is soooo smooth... i'm not going back to mice with balls!

I jumped in the optical mice movement with a logitech wheelmouse optical. I tought it was a pretty good mice, confortable and accurate. However, last month the wheel started not working proprely so I got pissed and bought one of these MS intelimouse optical. Much better in my opinion, as it's on better with confort (for my hand anyway ) , It have 2 more buttons ( very useful ), not forgetting the working wheel 😛, plus a MUCH better optical sensor. It really makes a difference with very fast moves in games notably where the logitech would do some erratic moves but my MS stays sharp. So kudos for microsoft who can do some serious mouses

cya

Logitech Mouseman Dual optical. Best mouse I've ever had. Nicely weighted. My first optical mouse, MS Whell mouse (Intellieye) crapped out after only ayear and a half, plus it drifts so much.
