Hey everyone i have an agin A7V333, and i have a unlocked barton 2500+ however since my mobo cant support 400mhz fsb i cant overclock it.

Im faced with a decision and i would like your opinions.

I can either buy a mobo for about 90$ (like an abit NF7-S) or just wait longer until PCI Xpress and all the other goodies come out?

Whaddya think?

do you need the intergrated features of the NF7? if not I'd go with a AN35 nice basic NF2 baord with good Overclocking features

yeah the a7v333 sucks
it alerts you that you tryed to overclock and resets things when you reboot
the only thing you can really do with it is raise the fsb a couple mhz

the nf7-s and an7 are much better

if you need something now that is prob your best bet

NF7-S rev2.0 is usually recommended as a great nForce2 board. I've got a rev1.2, and love it. I don't remember what the 2.0 adds; just look up NF7-S rev1.2 vs 2.0 on Google. The NF7-S has all the fun nForce2 things - Firewire, USB2.0, and Soundstorm, so you'll probably be able to sell your current soundcard, assuming you have one.
