Question Should I buy a monitor with HDR10+ for graphic design work?

Hello everyone,
I'm considering upgrading my work monitor for graphic design and photo editing. I see a lot of models with HDR10+ support and different brightness levels (400-1000 nits). Can someone with experience tell me if HDR10+ really improves the workflow in Photoshop/Illustrator, or is it more of a marketing ploy? Also wondering if it's worth paying extra for models with very high brightness for everyday color work.

I don't think anyone can make that determination for you. The work you do itself will be the determining factor. If what you are working on is meant to be displayed in HDR10+, then obviously, you need a HDR10+ capable display in order to confirm it is correctly rendered.

No. HDR has nothing to do with graphic design. The field is about WYSIWYG, and HDR will not get carried over to the print shops. They depend on LDR, and are really still 8bit shops.

Even if the target is digital display, there is no guarantee the display platform can handle the particular HDR level, if at all.

I mean how many HDR monitor can match Pantone?

Example, not recommendation
