Cliffs:

* Gave a guy I work out with (someone I know from my gym) a ride home tonight.
* We sit in traffic on highway and pull up next to a car with two girls in the front, and a guy in the back, who gets out and takes a piss on the side of the road.
* We look left as he's coming back to his car and he screams over to us "Hey, are you a fa**ot? What are you looking at?"
* I shrug it off, but the guy I'm giving a ride home to gets out of the car, takes off his shirt, and starts pounding on the guy's car window looking for a fight.
* I eventually get him to calm down, get back in my car, and we drive off.

Should I be worried? License plate snap? I'm not liable since I'm not the one who got out of the car, right?
 
I'd stay in the basement for a little while. It's harder for them to hit you down there when they come for the drive-by.
 
Umm... If the guy got out of my car, (after I told him to let it go) tore his shirt off and challenged another guy to a fight I would have punched the gas and left his ass to deal with his decision making paradigm. Friend or not. I'm not getting into a fight/getting killed because of his ego.

OK. Well I didn't drive away. We were stuck in traffic. Not much I could do. My question is... they very well saw my license plate, and with someone who has access, could look up my home address.

What do I do?

He was probably drunk and will have no clue who you are if you ever meet him again.

That does not mean you shouldn't show him your genitalia, preferably as he's bound to a chair with a finger nail clipper taken to his own.

You need to do some self evaluation. While your buddy was being a douche, you could've been trying to bone the bitches. You fail OP.

And really it's not that big of a deal. You didnt do shit, cops call, rat him out. Then when he gets out of jail for a week for simple assault or terroristic threat, he'll come beat your ass for ratting him out. But really the ass whooping will be justified since you deserve it by not trying to bone the bitches.

If he kept the shirt on and tried that you'd be in a body bag.
 
I saw this on a Ep of National Geographic once. Don't look into the apes eyes directly. If you feel threatened, slowly back away without turning your back to him.

i would if it was over something that stupid. actually id prob sit there and watch him get his ass beat for being a fucking moron. then calmly ask him "what did you learn today?" when it was over
