I won a new xbox360 auctioned on ebay back on April 9th. Seller claims it was shipped out on April 11th but hasnt provided me with any poof or tracking. I live in Japan but its still unusual for shipping to take this long. I have always recieved my packages within 10 days. Im a litle concerned because hes not really answering my questions whenever I contact him.

Heres an example 4/23

Me:
Hi,
The package(XBOX360) hasnt arrived yet. By any chance did you get Tracking on it? Which shipping method was sent out by? Thanks

Seller:
it should be there any timeim sorry for the wait shipping there was long they said right now due to something im not sure but it will be there soon sorry

He didnt answer my question.

I sent him another email yesterday and Im still waiting for his response.

man I hate playing the waiting game.

From taht unintelligible reply to your email alone, I'd IMMEDIATELY call paypal and get my money back. What's the guy's feedbakc, link to auction?

Wierd that there is a 2 year break in his feedback with him becoming active again within the last month.

Looks like a scam. For something that expensive, I'd fill reverse payment if I don't get anything within a week, no buts or ifs. It's bad enough he didn't give you a tracking number. In addition, for something like this, I'd use FedEx to make sure I have a real tracking number at all times.

yep, its a scam, have a look at the feedback for the bid withdrawl

Is this practice quite common on ebay?

So I guess its safe to say I wont be getting an xbox360 delivered. Man I never thought I would be dupped on my first purchase on ebay.

It says "Comes in a brown box sorry" lol

dude I just saw that too. Unbelievable. cant believe I waited this long to file a complaint.
I hope the return process will be swift.

Since when does withdrawing a bid make it a scam?

just have a look at the person who withdrew the bid, feedback, note the person who left the feedback

Sadly it is more common then you would think...that is why I always pay via paypal...and I allow the seller on 14 days for shipping...they are notified of this when the sale is finalized, the ones who object are usually running scams and attempt to back out of the sale, every body else its fine by them.

It maybe a scam if the user withdrawing a bid is some how connected to the seller.
The user who withdrew the bid was wrestlingkrause. The last name on the sellers paypal account is Krause

file paypal dispute first, 30days limit is near.
buying high demand items in Ebay is pretty dangerous, especially for international purchases.
Do you have his home address?

So hes bought something from the seller before, I still don't see a problem. If you implying that the person who retracted the bid is the seller himself, why waste the fees for a $177 item just to give him a feedback?

you don't use ebay much do you. the profit on one item that has had false bids on it often far excedes the small fees that ebay applies to austions.

I suppose your right, it would be easier to just make another account with 0 feedback to bid on yours. Xbox360s are that easy to "fake sell" anyway.
