I'm just starting to realize that most of my friends are at the point in their lives where they'll probably marry the girls they're currently dating. As for me, all of my relationships lasted less than half a year, with many of them being shorter than a month. Is this considered strange? Most of my coworkers think so, although they don't say that to my face.

Dunno, I am 24 and single. I havn't been in a serious relationship for the past 2 years. I guess I should start to worry as well. All my good friends are planning on proposing later this year. I will be the only single guy out of the group, LOL. I guess that is life...

Marry your computer. That's how it is sometimes. I haven't been in a real relationship in some time myself. Just don't turn all misogynistic accidentally.

I was never in a relationship longer than 6 months before I met the woman I was going to marry. I was 23. No big deal.

coworkers probably suspect you are gay, and maybe are even a bit pissed off you haven't chosen to "come out" to them yet :)

I'm 25, haven't been in a relationship since '99. Who cares what your coworkers think?

I'm more concerned about my friends who are 23 AND in serious relationships (as in engaged/married)...

What do you want to do or be doing?

I don't. I'm more worried about if I'm doing something wrong.

Hmm, then in retrospect bringing a hot pool boy to the office chrismas party was probably a bad idea.

No, they won't. They all think that, but as time has taught me, they're usually wrong.

I'm 26 and haven't had any of my girlfriends for more than 2 or 3 months. It's nothing to worry about, keep having your fun while you're young. 24 or 26 is too young to be concerned with committing yourself to a long-term, serious relationship, or <gasp> thinking about marriage.

You've got nothing to worry about. Quite a few of my single friends are in the same boat and quite a bit older than you (think decade or more). Of three that immediately come to mind, one guy is just picky, one guy has a self-described "zero BS tolerance policy" and one is just too interested in himself. :p

EDIT: spelling

Keep to yourself and don't tell anyone about your personal life. I'm 42 and have never dated but I've only admitted this fact on anonymous computer related forums.
