Should I be allowed to run people

On my reading of the board back and forth while at work I deal with some of the worst poster in the world. I have to post on Off Topic (it's on Anandtech) all day and I'm starting to believe that if I don't run these people off the board, they will end up making me or someone else go insane with their horriblely stupid posting. So please vote and discuss, you're welcome to include your own insights and experiences.
