i've been using a 754 3200+ with K8VSE ,2 80MM fans on a antec2600AMB case

when i first began using it about a year ago the temp defaulted around 37C and when i did anything such as rendering, gaming etc that maxes CPU to 100% it would max at about 53C

as of now it idles at around 47C and has reached as high as 63C when it is at 100%

should i act now that it has been getting hotter? don't know what to do... since this was a first build for me and i did not take part in assembling the cpu on the mobo etc. oh yeah the heatsink i think is called a thermeltake venice or something?

thanks in advance!

Maybe the Thermal Interface Material is drying out, or the fans are getting full of dust.

Definitely check the heatsinks for dust and crap. If its not dust clogging everything up then maybe the thermal pad (or whatever there called) has whorn out. So just remove the heatsink and see whats under there...
