Should he have been expelled (Left gum in car parked near school grounds.)

Basically a high school junior goes chewing gum before school, and afterwards doesn't have time to go home and drop his gum stash. So he parks his vehicle on the street off of the campus thinking it should be fine since he didn't park on campus with the gum. The police doing random inspections of vehicles find his gum and he gets expelled by the school district board. He appeals to the county school board and wins and they throw out the expulsion.

Personally I think he should have been expelled. It sets a dangerous precedent that students can take gum when they go to school. Schools are suppose to free from gum. Dumb county officials, I hope the school board fights this and wins and he gets expelled for good.

Of course he should be banned from high school. Most likely, he's one of those vandals who not only chews with his mouth open, he spits the gum on the sidewalk.

HEY, waidaminit...now if he strategically places said chewed gum in such a way that people who have holes in the soles of their shoes can step on it and fill those holes...he's performing a public service, and thus should be publicly recognized. Perhaps a plaque from the mayor would be more appropriate. 😛
 
Before embarking on these types of journeys, one should reflect awhile on whether it is really worth it. I had my "I don't understand additions" thread ready to fire and chose to not click the post button. Something to think about.
 
Bastard! I saw that thread title and thought that I had a major typo last night when I fixed the other thread title. Then I glanced at the OP and saw that my mod edit was missing. That made me all...GRRRR... inside.
