I know that, but unless Zimmerman has automatic dual citizenship because of his mother it is just as applicable as any other country.

Is Peru automatically open to Jorge Z because of his mother or not? If not, he should consider all of his options. Hell, he should do that anyway but like I said earlier I hope he can exist peacefully here in the US.

why was this immeasurably retarded thread unlocked?
It was NEVER locked (not yet, anyhow, at the very least)))

The one that was locked ( this one: http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?t=2336620 ) ... it was a double thread, same with this thread.
It was created with few extra Voting Options that people requested.

But shortly after it's creation Admin added those few extra voting options to this thread, here (that I wasn't able to do on my own) ... and locked that other one.

Something like that .....

So I could practice spelling Uruguay and point out that some of the finest beef comes from there in the post just prior to yours? :colbert:

They also have a tremendous backyard beef cooking culture, on par or greater than BBQ'ing the US. It is done totally differently however, I forget the term for the brick oven/grills that are a must have in every back yard however.

do they also BBQ the guinea pigs in Uruguay like they do in Peru?

:hmm: I am intrigued.

shut up. This thread is now about Uruguay and BBQ>..and maybe even vaccines and global warming at some point. who knows.

it was unlocked for a reason, and stupid hypotheticals that no one cares about is not the reason why.

go pound sand if you don't like it.

BBM

I hope so also ... but not holding my breath too much on that ...
Time will show of course, but I agree with you, he SHOULD consider all his options ... (South America has few more "not too bad" countries to live in (if one has some money), besides those mentioned ... Chile, Argentina etc come to mind .. I would not make a permanent move to Brazil, however)

:hmm: I am intrigued.

You mean the ones they keep as pets and then BBQ in Peru? No, they don't do that in Uruguay. Notice the architecture of Montevideo is more European like.

Check this page out for Parilla info, the famouse barkyard bbq of Uruguay. This is some company in CA making metal versions, but should get you going.

shut up ???

WTF .. lol .. please don't tell me to shut up ... you are neither my boss nor my mother ...

ya... it (the thread) was unlocked for a reason ... and the reason was / is that it was never locked ....... :p

I like it ... I like ... I really really like it (re: if you don't like it))) ... so I have no need to go pound sand ...

You can though .. or some meat instead -- lol (speaking of all those BBQ activities) -- best to tenderize it somewhat at first ......

Oh, I've actually seen those grills before, when looking for some type of modular grill/smoker contraption.

Intriguing.

I'm finally starting to get into Central and South America. I just returned from a short trip to Belize and about a day in Guatemala--want to return to Guatemala and Peru and Chile and hopefully, at some point, Patagonia.

I recall Uruguay had the hottest fans at the most recent World Cup. :hmm:

... Belize ... beautiful country ... but with one of the highest crime rate / murder rate per capita in the world ......

John McAfee seemed to like to reside there ... and I checked out Belize (on internet only, unfortunately) when I was following McAfee's recent adventures ......

P.S. Speaking of "going south" ... -- I made it to Cuba though (we, in Canada here, can travel there freely) ... and to Dominican Republic.
